The Saint Ignatius trail follows several places marked by anecdotes, legends and religious and spiritual symbolism. Many of them were places of prayer for St. Ignatius, such as the Basilica of La Seu and the Carmelite church of El Carme, and in some others, he lived mysteries and revelations, including the Chapel of the Rapture (El Rapte). Other places have been transformed through the years, while the Society of Jesus, religious order formed by Saint Ignatius, was gaining recognition, such as the Sanctuary of the Cave (La Cova). Last but not least, you can also visit 1522, the city of Ignatius, located in the former convent in Sant Domènec Square.
