The Agulla Park is outside of Manresa, no far from Santpedor. The park was created with the construction of the Lake of l'Agulla, which was built between 1966 and 1974. The lake covers an area of 64,000 m2 and a capacity of 200,000 m3, which ensures a reservation at Manresa for over a week.
The main functions of the lake are: save water in case there is a breakdown and, in case of works, regulate the daily consumption of water.
The lake is surrounded by a park of 688 trees of twenty different species. In this park you can practice some aquatic sports. In the park there is the La Sèquia Park Visitor's Center, a bar, an ice cream kiosk and children's playgrounds.
