The Ignatian Way, impulsed by the Jesuits, that covers the pilgrimage made Ignatius of Loyola in 1522 from his native land, Azpeitia (in Basque Country) to Manresa, where he stayed for 11 months. This track and the subsequent stay in Manresa was a crucial process in the life of the saint as representing his spiritual transformation: from a life devoted to arms and prosperity to a life of contemplation and help the needy.
The Ignatian Way lets you enjoy the diverse landscapes of 5 regions (Basque Country, La Rioja, Navarre, Aragon and Catalonia) and the experience as a way of being pilgrims.
